Description
The HID VertX platform includes modular interface panels (V100, V200, V300) managed by a master controller (V1000 or V2000), available in both Legacy and EVO configurations. These devices enable distributed door, input, and output control via RS-485 networks, reducing the load on corporate LAN infrastructure.
Interface modules connect downstream to a master controller over RS-485, with each controller able to manage up to 32 modules (approximately 64 readers). EVO controllers offer significantly higher processing power, increased memory, and greater cardholder capacity compared to Legacy models, while maintaining full downstream compatibility with all modules.
VertX solutions are ideal for enterprise and industrial facilities that require reliable, scalable access control in distributed environments with centralized management.
