The HID VertX EVO series offers intelligent, IP‑ready access controllers designed to manage multiple downstream interface modules for scalable, distributed access control while minimizing corporate LAN traffic.

Description
The HID VertX EVO controllers (models V1000 and V2000) provide versatile, IP-based access control solutions that offload door decision-making to the edge. The V1000 is an advanced network controller that supports up to 32 interface modules over RS‑485, while the V2000 provides dedicated reader interface support for up to two doors.
Both controllers store and process access decisions independently—allowing full operational capability even when disconnected from the host system. Event logging is buffered and forwarded once connectivity is restored, ensuring no loss of access data.
With support for large cardholder databases and scalable topologies, these devices are ideal for enterprise, industrial, or campus environments that require high-performing, distributed access control with central oversight.
